About Dr. Saqib R. Ahmed
Dr. Saqib R. Ahmed is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon who joined FLDSCC in 2026. Dr. Ahmed received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida, his Master of Science degree in Physiology from Georgetown University, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Marshall University School of Medicine where he graduated number one in his class. He also completed his surgical internship at The University of California, San Francisco, a dermatology residency at Kansas University Medical Center, and his Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at the world’s number one cancer center: MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.
Prior to joining FLDSCC, he worked as a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon in Longwood, Florida. He enjoys mentoring students of all levels – from high school to medical students. Dr. Ahmed has also authored two books, and has been published in several medical publications and presentations.
At FLDSCC, Dr. Ahmed focuses on skin cancer and reconstructive surgery.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ahmed enjoys running, practicing sleight-of-hand, and spending time with his wife and two children.
