About Dr. Brandon Worley

Dr. Brandon Worley is board-certified in dermatology in both the United States and Canada, and joined FLDSCC in July 2020. Dr. Worley is an honors graduate of the University of Western Ontario, where he received his Bachelor of Medical Science degree with a specialization in physiology, and a graduate of McMaster University, where he earned his Master of Science degree in Medical Science, with a focus on tissue regeneration. Dr. Worley has a dual fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology concurrently with cosmetic dermatologic surgery from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.

Dr. Worley has designed and helped lead multiple clinical trials on investigational wound healing strategies, laser and surgical dermatology. He was also key in establishing an NIH-funded international consortium, and was appointed to the American Society for Dermatology Surgery evidence-based medicine committee. Dr. Worley has co-led or is currently leading multiple clinical practice guidelines for rare cutaneous cancers such as Extramammary Paget’s disease, microcystic adnexal carcinoma, and sebaceous carcinoma. Dr. Worley has been on national executive boards for health policy and medical education, a columnist on dermatologic care, reviewer for multiple medical journals, and has received numerous awards. He is a member of the Emerging Health Leaders Network, the ASDS Evidence-based Clinical Guidelines Working Group and many others.

At FLDSCC, Dr. Worley focuses on the care of both simple and complex skin cancers as a Mohs surgeon, as well as treatment options for all skin concerns. Guiding his patients carefully and thoughtfully through their cancer and skin disease journey is the goal that he always aims to achieve.

Aside from work, Dr. Worley enjoys staying active and spending quality time with his wife and two sons, appreciating all that the Central Florida area has to offer.
