Florida Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers (FLDSCC), a family-focused practice with offices throughout Florida, is proud to announce the recent professional achievement of Chrisjonna Foster, a valued team member since 2010. Foster has become a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), marking a significant milestone in her career in dermatology.
Foster has an impressive 14-year background as a medical assistant and registered nurse, with a specialized focus on general dermatology and dermatologic surgery. Her extensive hands-on experience and dedication to patient care made her progression to an APRN and FNP-C a natural next step. She earned her Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Keiser University and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Herzing University.
This academic achievement is particularly meaningful for Foster as it represents the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and a deep commitment to advancing her clinical skills. As an APRN and FNP-C, she will continue to provide excellent dermatological care, including patient education, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of skin conditions. Her expertise covers the management of precancerous and cancerous lesions, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, hair and nail problems, wound care, and many other skin-related concerns for patients of all ages. Foster also currently serves as the chief operating officer at FLDSCC, with a focus on expanding clinical operations.
“It’s been an incredible journey to earn both my APRN and FNP-C, and I’m thrilled to apply my new knowledge and skills to benefit our patients,” says Foster. “This academic advancement allows me to contribute even more to the FLDSCC practice, and I’m excited about the positive impact it will have on the care we provide.”
At FLDSCC, we are thrilled to celebrate Foster’s achievement and look forward to the continued impact of her work in our community.
“Chrisjonna’s academic achievements are truly commendable,” says Medical Director of FLDSCC, Dr. K. Wade Foster. “This advancement highlights Chrisjonna’s passion for continuing her education to deliver exceptional patient care, and her new credentials further enhance the comprehensive care that FLDSCC is known for, ensuring that our patients benefit from the most current and effective dermatological practices.”
All providers at FLDSCC are committed to expanding their training, academics, and expertise, ensuring that our patients receive compassionate, high-quality care that continually improves with the latest in medical knowledge and practice.
