Carson Mitchell

Carson Mitchell is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who joined FLDSCC in 2025. She is a graduate of Florida Southern College, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing, and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Polk State College, as well as an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Keiser University.

Carson began her nursing career at Lakeland Regional Health, spending seven years as an RN in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit. In addition to dermatology, she also has experience working in primary care, pediatrics, and otolaryngology and facial plastics. Carson is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing. 

At FLDSCC, Carson delivers comprehensive surgical and general dermatologic care. She looks forward to using her advanced clinical skills, adaptability, and compassionate approach to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Outside of the office, Carson enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She loves traveling and staying active outdoors, including skiing, fishing, boating, and exploring new places.
