K. Wade Foster received his M.D. and Ph.D. (Biochemistry) from the University of Alabama Birmingham.
He completed both his internship and residency and UAB and his Procedural Dermatology Fellowship at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine under Dr. Ron Moy. He has been a private practice physician at Florida Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers since July 2008.
Klaus Sellheyer, M.D. is board-certified in dermatology, anatomic pathology, and dermatopathology in the United States. He was born in Germany, where he obtained his medical degree from the Georg-August-University and completed a residency in dermatology in Germany and in the US. With his extensive training, Dr. Sellheyer has held many academic posts and professorships at medical schools across the country.
Dr. Knisley is a board certified dermatologist. He grew up in Tampa, FL and received his bachelor of arts degree Magna Cum Laude in pre-medical education from the University of South Florida in 1998. He entered medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fl. Lauderdale, FL in 1999 and achieved his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine with highest honors in 2003.
Dr. Angelo Ayar graduated from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Michigan Medical School. A Michigan native, he also earned his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Michigan with honors. Dr. Ayar is multilingual and loves to travel, meet new people, and is an avid sports fan.
After earning his medical degree at University of Health Sciences College of Medicine in Kansas City, Dr. Charles Dewberry completed a traditional internship in Kansas and a dermatology residency in Tampa. He has also had fellowship training in cosmetic surgery, including Mohs micrographic surgery, and is known for his surgical expertise.
Dr. George Brant is a Florida native and joined the practice in 2017. He completed his Doctor of Osteopathy from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008, followed by a general surgery internship in Ohio.
Tonya graduated from Ohio University earning her bachelor of science degree in biological sciences/pre-medicine in 1998. In 2003, she graduated from Kettering College of Medical Arts with a bachelor of science degree in physician assistant studies.
Cheryl Sasser Campbell is a graduate of the University of South Florida, where she earned her bachelor and master of science degrees in nursing. She is a board certified ARNP and Dermatology ARNP.
Christy, MSN, ARNP-C, is an AANP board certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). She attended Polk State College for her AA and AS in Nursing in 1995. She earned her BSN in Nursing from the University of South Florida in 2004, and her master’s degree from Florida Southern College in 2007.
Merrill Hart is a Certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She a professional member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Jared Simmons is an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, working with our outreach program. He holds a master of science degree in nursing, with a concentration in adult gerontology primary care from Florida Southern College. Additionally, he is a member of the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. He began his nursing career at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in the surgical and trauma intensive care units.
Stephan Thornton has a master of science degree in nursing from the University of South Florida and is a board-certified nurse practitioner, with a concentration in family practice. He has volunteered with Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine. A Lakeland native, he enjoys the beach, fishing, and boating.
Julie White is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, certified in family practice. She received both her bachelor and master of science degrees in nursing at University of South Florida, in Tampa. Julie is married and has one son. She enjoys spending free time on the family ranch, riding the ATV and fishing, and raising her son in Dade City, FL.
